'When the cake stand arrived I was really impressed. A silver three-tier cake stand is most traditional for afternoon tea and is my favorite way to present this treat selection.'

Kingsway Hall Hotel hosts charity dinner for Shelter Box and raises £30,000 with support of Michelin starred chefs.
In June of this year Kingsway Hall Hotel supported Shelter Box by hosting a dinner with Michelin starred chef's John Burton Race and Martin Brunos.
The event included a Battle of the Chefs, a raffle and an auction where the guest with the highest bid received the prize of a lifetime. They had Michelin starred chef John Burton Race cook them dinner in their own kitchen!
Shelter Box is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people effected by disaster worldwide. Their goal is to help 500,000 people every year.
So we are very proud to say we was able to raise a grand total of £30,000 and would like to say thank you to everyone who was involved in helping us achieve that total!
