We had a wonderful stay for a birthday treat. Beautiful hotel, great attentive staff who make you feel very welcome. Delicious afternoon tea in the restaurant. Highly recommended, we will stay again when visiting London. (Facebook)
Stayed like a king and queen at Kingsway
This hotel is in a safe convenient part of town, walking distance to several theatres, great restaurants, and just a few blocks from the underground. The breakfast each morning was exceptional and staff was very helpful. Kingsway is worth the money and my husband and I would re-book with them in the future. (Tripadvisor)
Impressive Hotel. Good value for money
Booked was a gift to take my mom to see a theatre show Hotel was impressive from the moment we arrived. Well presented. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable with good facilities.
We dines in the restaurant which for the set menu seemed great value for money (2 courses £19.95, 3 courses £24.95) – although there are many restaurants and bars on the doorsteps.
This hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to the theatre easily without any need for public transport or taxis.
There is a very small gym area with 3 cardio machines. There is also a hot tub and steam room facilities. Although basic they were a pleasant surprise and it was niche to take a moment to relax. Make sure you give the steam room in the changing room plenty of time to heat up! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. (Tripadvisor)
Excellent high tea
I’ve been here twice for sparkling high tea. The service is absolutely excellent, and there’s a huge range of teas (I chose Jasmine). The food is very good and well presented. The restaurant is very smart, but also relaxed. On both occasions (a hen party, and a birthday party) I was there for few hours and never felt rushed. It’s really good value too. The lounge area is also really nice – very relaxed and cosy. (Tripadvisor)
Lovely restaurant, very pleasant atmosphere with very professional staff. Breakfasts very good indeed, hot and fresh with good coffee. Evening menu very good value so ate in twice after long days in London. Perfect for a pre-show meal as so close to everything. (Tripadvisor)
Another enjoyable meal
Having visited Harlequin restaurant at Kingsway hall Hotel on a previous occasion I thought to give it another try. I was not disappointed.
I had a three course dinner with a friend and the food came beautifully presented and was tasty. I had soup for starter, lamb for main course and apple crumble for dessert. My friend and I shared each other’s dessert, they had the profiteroles with ice cream which just melted sway in our mouths.
The restaurant was busy on the night and the service was attentive. Usually in some restaurants when it gets busy I have found that they forget about you but this was not the case. I was to thank the supervisor Abishek for his good service and to Diana who was very friendly. (Tripadvisor)
